類似操作不僅適用於部分東南亞國家的旅客，也在其他國際機場有普遍實施的先例。例如，香港國際機場、新加坡樟宜機場以及日本各入境口岸，也會對缺乏完整入境資料的旅客採取拒絕入境和遣返的措施，以維護本國的入境管理秩序和安全。

此次事件中，被遣返的42名印度旅客在廣州機場無法提供完整入境證明，因此被依法原機遣返。事件提醒各國旅客，在前往中國及其他國家旅行時，務必提前準備好返程機票、住宿信息及資金證明，以免因資料不全而被拒入境。

A total of 42 Indian nationals were stopped by immigration officers while attempting to enter China and were subsequently deported back to their home country.
