日本任天堂老字號的招牌遊戲之一《星之卡比》，初版在1992年的Game Boy上市，系列作品持續在任天堂各主機平台出現。特色是將敵人或物品吸入，然後在嘴巴內在吞入或吐出。除左右移動外，還可以進行漂浮。

在2011年10月24日在北美率先推出的《星之卡比 Wii》（星のカービィ Wii/Kirby's Return to Dream Land/歐：Kirby's Adventure Wii），更在2023年2月24日推出復刻豪華版。仍由HAL研發製作，任天堂負責發行。特色一樣是將敵人吸入後吐出攻擊，還有複製能力及漂浮設定。雖然移動方式仍以2D橫向卷軸進行，但許多畫面均以3D呈現。舞台則含蓋各種有特色的關卡，有森林山丘、沙漠外，還有海底世界。

故事描述為協助迫降在波普之星的旅人「魔法洛亞」返家，卡比開始在各地收集宇宙船「洛亞」所需要的零件。如果闖關途中想玩其他小遊戲，可以到「魔法洛亞樂園」，最多四位玩家挑戰10種遊樂設施。裡面設定的「扮演面具」有86種。玩過樂園後還可獲得對冒險有幫助的伴手禮，例如恢復體力或是攻擊的道具，在闖關的時候使用。

在Switch的豪華版，遊戲的音效及畫質都有大幅改良，卡比及其它角色如魅塔騎士、帝帝帝大王(デデデ大王)和頭巾瓦豆魯迪(ワドルディ)的必殺技能均強化，可快速解決敵人。最多有四人同時進行遊戲挑戰，玩家可隨時加入或退出，也可以全部都選卡比。

One of Nintendo's classic flagship games, "Kirby's Dream Land," was first released on the Game Boy in 1992, and the series has continued to appear on various Nintendo platforms. Its distinctive feature is the ability to inhale enemies or objects and then either swallow or spit them out. In addition to moving left and right, Kirby can also float.

"Kirby's Return to Dream Land," known as "Kirby's Adventure Wii" in Europe and "星のカービィ Wii" in Japan, was first released in North America on October 24, 2011. A deluxe version of this game was released on February 24, 2023. Developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo, it retains the feature of inhaling enemies and spitting them out for attacks, as well as the copy ability and floating settings. Although the movement is still in 2D side-scrolling, many scenes are presented in 3D. The stages cover various unique levels, including forest hills, desert landscapes, and underwater worlds.

The story follows Kirby as he helps the traveler, Magolor, who crash-landed on the planet of Pop Star, to return home by collecting the parts needed for his spaceship, the Lor Starcutter. Along the way, players can visit the "Magolor's Fun Land" to play other mini-games, with up to four players challenging ten amusement facilities. Inside, there are 86 different "Copy Abilities" that can be obtained. After playing in the theme park, players can also receive souvenirs helpful for adventures, such as items for restoring health or attacking, which can be used during the levels.

In the deluxe version for the Switch, the game's sound effects and graphics have been significantly improved, and abilities of Kirby and other characters such as Meta Knight, King Dedede (デデデ大王), and Waddle Dee (ワドルディ) have been enhanced, allowing for quicker defeat of enemies. Up to four players can participate simultaneously, with players able to join or leave at any time, and all players can choose to play as Kirby.
