《Unbeatable》是由D-CELL GAMES研發的節奏動作冒險遊戲,故事以強烈的視覺風格與濃厚的動漫美學打造出一個獨特而反叛的世界。背景設定在一個「音樂被全面禁止」的國度,任何與音樂相關的行為都被視為違法,而主角則是一名粉紅頭髮的少女「節奏(Beat)」。她在這樣壓抑的環境裡,與一群志同道合的樂團夥伴一同抗拒這荒謬的禁令,試圖以音樂為武器,反抗那些隨時會找麻煩、甚至想要消滅音樂的執法者。

在玩法上,採用簡潔卻需要高度專注的雙鍵節奏系統,只需掌握「上」與「下」兩個按鍵,就能在戰鬥中跟隨音樂節拍展開攻擊、反擊與閃避。雖然操作看似簡單,但節奏的速度、敵人的攻勢與動作判定會隨著曲目變化而快速提升,使遊戲的爽快感與挑戰性同時大幅增加。亦能在遊戲的舞台外四處探索,追逐他人或與角色互動,加深對世界的理解。

敘事部分預計帶來約六至八小時的完整遊戲內容,並會搭配外觀解鎖、線上排行榜與星級評價等多種系統增添可玩性。預計在正式版上市時,能提供六十五首以上的可遊玩歌曲,而幾乎所有曲目將在一開始就向玩家全面開放,並可自由選擇難度挑戰。這次在Gamescom展出的試玩版本新增兩首新曲目〈LONER〉以及名字極具個性的〈PROPER RHYTHM BPM 271 MEMODEMO SWAG BOOTLEG〉,同樣的更新也同步於PC Steam與PS5試玩版釋出。

Unbeatable is a rhythm-action adventure created by the indie team D-CELL GAMES, set in a strikingly stylized world where music has been completely outlawed. The story follows a pink-haired girl known as Beat, who refuses to accept a life without sound or expression. Together with her bandmates, she pushes back against a society that treats music as a crime and sends armed officers to suppress anyone who dares to perform. In this oppressive world, Beat’s journey becomes one of rebellion, identity, and emotional connection through rhythm.

The narrative gradually reveals why music became forbidden, while also exploring Beat’s personal history and her unique bond with sound. As the band tries to survive constant harassment from the authorities, they learn more about the truth hidden beneath the government’s strict control and the mysterious forces that shaped this silent world. Alongside the main game, the developers created an episodic side story titled UNBEATABLE [white label]—a smaller narrative in which a young girl learns a song. This standalone project serves as a narrative preview of the universe, releasing chapter by chapter during the game’s crowdfunding campaign. Each episode introduces new story segments and fresh beatmaps, ultimately forming a complete short story connected to the main world.

Gameplay in Unbeatable focuses on a deceptively simple two-button rhythm system—one input for the upper lane and one for the lower lane. Despite its minimal controls, the game delivers intense, fast-paced battles where players must attack, dodge, and respond to enemies strictly to the beat. The rhythm charts escalate in complexity as the music grows more energetic, creating an exhilarating flow that blends combat, timing, and animation into a seamless audiovisual experience. Beyond combat, players can roam around different areas, chase characters, interact with NPCs, and explore the world’s atmosphere before returning to the stage.

 

According to D-CELL GAMES, the story content in the main release is expected to span six to eight hours. The game will launch with online leaderboards, cosmetic unlocks, a star-rating system, and a rich collection of music tracks. The team hopes to include more than sixty-five playable songs at launch, with nearly every track accessible from the beginning across all difficulty levels. During Gamescom 2025, the developers showcased an updated demo featuring two new songs—“LONER” and the humorously titled “PROPER RHYTHM BPM 271 MEMODEMO SWAG BOOTLEG.” The same demo update became available on Steam for PC players and on PS5 the same day.

Since its announcement, Unbeatable has attracted significant attention for its bold visual style, anime-inspired action, and emotionally driven storytelling. Rhythm-game fans praise its fast, satisfying gameplay and its powerful soundtrack, while narrative-focused players appreciate its character-centric worldbuilding. The combination of rebellious energy, stylish animation, and heartfelt writing has earned it strong anticipation within the indie and rhythm-game communities.
