The game immerses players in a cursed underground labyrinth, where exploration, strategy, and party management are crucial for survival. The story takes place in the scenic transportation hub city of Echoes, overlooking a bountiful sea, yet its residents live in constant fear of monsters emerging from the nearby labyrinth known as Eclipse. Players assume the role of an adventurer who initially takes on minor exploration tasks and errands within the town. One day, the city collectively calls upon adventurers to enter the Eclipse labyrinth and subdue the monsters, marking the beginning of the narrative.

The Eclipse labyrinth is filled with curses and powerful monsters, making exploration perilous. Driven by the desire to protect the city and pursue hidden treasures within the labyrinth, players embark on a challenging journey. Throughout the story, players experience the tension between safeguarding the city and pursuing personal gain, gradually uncovering the labyrinth’s secrets and the underlying conspiracies through exploration and combat.

Gameplay combines a traditional turn-based combat system with quest-driven dungeon exploration. Before entering a dungeon, players prepare their party, equip gear, and accept quests in Echoes. Dungeon objectives vary, including monster extermination and treasure hunting. Completing quests rewards experience points and gold, but if the party is wiped out or a quest is abandoned, no rewards are earned, emphasizing the importance of strategic planning and risk management.

The game’s core feature is the “curse system.” Party members may be afflicted by curses from enemy attacks or traps, which carry both positive and negative effects—such as increasing defense while lowering maximum HP, or enhancing damage at the risk of losing control of a character.
