The story continues directly from the main series universe. After countless battles where the super robot Mega Man—created by the brilliant Dr. Light—thwarted the world domination plans of the evil genius Dr. Wily, peace returned to humanity. Yet Wily’s ambitions never ceased. Working in secret, he reprogrammed Dr. Light’s industrial robots into combat units and built a new army of war machines, once again threatening the world.
